:: Custom Handicap ::
We would like to take the time to acquaint you with an example of some recent work we completed in Los Alamitos, California. We installed our custom handicap service in a family home in the area, and have collected photographs of various rooms to show you. The rooms profiled in this presentation include the bathroom, shower, and kitchen. We have also developed a brochure that captures this information on paper. :: Bathroom ::
Both bathrooms in this house were designed with our custom handicap service. We implemented
customized wheelchair access, specific to each bedroom, to meet the needs of our client. In addition,
bathroom sinks were lowered and plumbing was modified to promote easy access. The cabinet kicks
were customized for wheelchair footrests. Finally, the cabinets were finished with an epoxy-based
finish that significantly enhances their durability.
:: Shower ::
We installed customized handicap access showers with special features for washing
handicap equipment. Our customized cleansing equipment includes handheld shower units that are
specifically plumbed for wheelchair access. In addition, we installed a
Guldmann ceiling mounted hoist system
that "supplies mobility, giving walking-impaired and wheelchair users the freedom to
choose to participate in life around them."
:: Kitchen ::
Our custom handicap kitchen layout features an electrical light switch and appliance
arrangement specifically designed and built for handicapped access. Furthermore, all cabinets were
finished with a two-part catalyst, clear finish, and two-take wheelchair bumps. Finally, the
kitchen counters were lowered and the counter tops customized for handicapped cooking use.
:: Exterior ::
The family home was remodeled and expanded by 800 square feet. In addition,
the house entrance, driveway, and garage were all ramped with our handicapped access service.
